POSITION SUMMARY?
Incumbent is expected to join Textron Specialized Vehicle’s IT Security team and will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive cybersecurity risk management program for Textron India. They also aid in devising, implementing, installing, managing, monitoring, and performing upgrading of various firewalls and security tools and controls. Security analysts also resolve complex network issues. They apply software security patches to applications and operating systems.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Analyst with 3-5 years of experience to join our team at TIPL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, conducting vulnerability assessments, and assisting in security audits. They will manage access controls, contribute to policy development, and stay updated on the latest threats. Additionally, the role involves providing training and collaborating with IT and security teams to ensure the protection of our digital assets. Strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and excellent communication abilities are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
· Security Monitoring: Continuously monitor network traffic and security systems for threats and vulnerabilities using tools such as Splunk, Defender, and similar platforms. Develop custom alerts to detect anomalies.
· Incident Response: Investigate, document, and respond to security incidents. Implement corrective actions and mitigation strategies.
· Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and implement remediation measures to address security risks.
· Security Audits and Compliance: Assist with internal and external security audits to ensure adherence to frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.
· Access Management: Manage user access controls, permissions, and account security across organizational IT systems.
· Policy Development: Contribute to the development and enforcement of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices.
· Threat Intelligence: Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and integrate threat intelligence into operational security.
· Team Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams and Business Units to ensure end-to-end security alignment.
· Technical Guidance: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and new team members on processes, standards, and tools.
· Automation: Explore and implement automation solutions for repetitive security tasks and workflows.
· Training and Awareness: Educate and raise awareness among staff about cybersecurity threats and preventative measures.
Key Skills:
· Advanced knowledge in at least one programming language or environment (e.g., Python, Java) and proficiency in writing high-performing, secure code.
· Strong understanding of web services, including design principles and API security.
· Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, SOC 2, and CIS Controls.
· Hands-on experience in vulnerability assessments, incident handling, and penetration testing.
· Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail.
· Strong communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders, end users, and team members.
· Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or CISM are preferred.
