Education:

Requires a minimum of 5 years of documented experience in electrical/electronics as well as a diversified experience in hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical systems.

Job Summary:
To layout, install, repair, and maintain plant piping systems.
Job Responsibilities:
• Installs plant compressed air, water, steam, natural gas piping as well as piping for less common
chemicals and gases in accordance with the Uniform Plumbing Code.
• Maintains and repairs piping, pumps, pressure control devices, fuel service area equipment,
chemical filtration, back flow prevention and reverse osmosis equipment.
o Safely makes repairs to failed piping systems and equipment.
• Uses lift equipment or ladders to access overhead equipment.
• May be required to use cutting torch and to sweat solder in performance of job duties.
• Responsible for quality of own work.

Education:

JOB SUMMARY:

To perform and maintain proper inspection standards, methods and procedures used by the Service Center in complying with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer's recommendations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Ensures proper procedures are performed on all completed work and physically inspects aircraft, components, reviews related documentation to ensure workmanship meets acceptable Textron Aviation Quality standards, and applicable Federal regulations for final return to service and airworthiness determination.

·         Performs the following as delegated by the Supervisor or Lead Inspector:

·         Maintains a current file of FAA specifications, certificate data sheets and airworthiness directives.

·         Makes periodic checks on all tooling, including calibration of precision test equipment as outlined in the Overhaul Manuals and the FAA Repair Station Manuals. Ensures no defective or unairworthy parts are installed on any product released by the Service Center.

·         Inspects and accepts all incoming material, i.e. new parts, supplies, and repaired parts from contract service per the quality and repair station manuals.

·         Ensures proper tagging and identification of all parts during the maintenance process.

·         Evaluates inspection records, reports, forms, and procedures for compliance to Quality standards.

·         Uses Textron and Vendor Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Manual, Structural Repair Manuals, Wiring Diagrams, EEDS/DDS, and other approved technical publications.

·         Develops familiarity with Required Inspection Item (RII) requirements, part 135 requirements and understands the requirements and use of the Master Equipment List (MEL).

·         Performs periodic aircraft walkaround surveys for tracking of proper usage of all forms as well as the surrounding area to be free of any known hazards.

·         Understand and organize the required aircraft inspections and maintaining of files with completed work orders and inspection forms in an efficient system for easy review by supervisor or Lead Inspector.

EDUCATION:

·         High School education or equivalent is required

·         Requires use of arithmetic, blueprints, and specifications plus knowledge of jet and piston airframe and engine principles and mechanical systems.

·         A&P License required.

EXPERIENCE:

·         Requires minimum of 3 years diversified A&P mechanic experience on jet and turboprop 100 hour and annual service experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport authority, if applicable.

Summary of job description

• Attend and represent Bell Textron at MSG-3 industry conferences (IMRBPB, MPIG, RMPIG, etc.)
• Identify certification maintenance requirement candidates and propose suitable MSG-3 task replacement using condition based maintenance and level I & II analysis techniques.

Minimum required qualifications

• 10-15 years experience in aviation related maintenance preferred.
• University or College Degree in related field is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience performing MSG-3 Level I & II analysis and a thorough understanding of the MSG-3 process from start to finish.
• Prior experience working directly with aviation authorities (FAA, TCCA, EASA).
• Extensive experience using MSG-3 specific analytical software (Relex, Reliasoft, Windchill etc.), preferred.

Work Performed:

Provides programming for numerically controlled production, tooling programs and Manufacturing Development Projects, utilizing engineering lines and data planning information. Responsible for creating either graphically or mathematically, any additional lines and surfaces that are required in the development of parts, tools, tooling fixtures, assembly fixtures and all mockups making certain that all design characteristics and aerodynamic features are included in the shape according to the master engineering lines; using engineering drawings is engaged in the making of he required layouts and templates for a particular project or a detail of a major project; all work must be performed within predetermined tolerances; contacts the appropriate engineering personnel and discusses with them required changes whenever it is found that a particular design does not meet tooling or manufacturing requirements or standards; maintains follow-up on the tools, assists the Fabrication and Assembly departments in their use; must have a knowledge of Loft, Engineering, Tool Design, Manufacturing and Planning processes and procedures. Facilitates the fabrication of the project; must use mathematical formulas for computing flange setback and springback development, form and die setups, bend allowance and apply scale factors when required.

1.)    Maintains complete documentation of programs to ensure effective process control.

2.)    May create tooling/material sketches, numerically controlled setup sheets, dimensional charts, material sketches, and machine operation diagrams. Determines from Engineering information, the most efficient and expedient method of lofting by numerical control methods and fabricating by numerical control tooling and sheet metal standards and related tools where dimensional sequencing of operations is required on numerical controlled sheet metal type fabrication equipment for the most difficult assignments.

Bell Piney Flats Quality Team

As a member of the Bell Piney Flats Quality department, this position will determine the course of work for aircraft through reviewing and analyzing aircraft configurations and identifying certification paths. This role will be trained to be a member of the Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) to assist with Maintenance, Repair and Alteration (MRA) projects.  This role is an integral part of the team, therefore, working closely with other departments, bringing personal experience and technical skill sets to the Bell Piney Flats Quality team.

• Prepare / complete FAA Form 337s for major alterations on completed aircraft.
• Identify the regulations that must be addressed by 8110-3s and request this approved data.
• Evaluate the aircraft weight and balance to ensure that the aircraft can be properly controlled.
• Ensure accuracy of the information referenced by the pilot.  Prepare aircraft weight and balance documents.
• Explain aircraft weight and balance situations with team members or customers.
• Hold certification meetings to address all issues and concerns and communicate certification path to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations.

What you need to be successful

Sommaire des responsabilités

Le candidat choisi servira sur place en tant qu'employé de BTCL à la base des Forces canadiennes (BFC) désignée.

Le rôle de la personne consiste à assurer la gestion des besoins en matériel pour la ligne de maintenance intégrée de Bell. • Coordonner les fonctions de réparation et d'élimination avec le technicien en gestion du matériel du MDN, le gestionnaire du cycle de vie du matériel du MDN et les spécialistes du cycle de vie du matériel de l'entrepreneur,
• Utiliser des équipements de manutention tels que des transpalettes, des chariots élévateurs et des chariots de transport;
• Effectuer des tâches ménagères au sein des lignes de maintenance ou de l'entrepôt, telles que, mais sans s'y limiter, l'élimination des boîtes, le nettoyage de la zone de travail et le nettoyage des étagères;
• Participer aux audits internes/externes;

• Confirmer et suivre les exigences applicables en matière de durée de conservation et de préservation;
• Emballer les pièces en respectant ou en dépassant les exigences du client et les meilleures pratiques de l'industrie;
• Maintenir les indicateurs de performance définis par le superviseur de l'entrepôt;
• Respecter les exigences du département en matière de qualité et de sécurité;
• Effectuer une analyse minimale des causes profondes des contraintes matérielles ou des problèmes d'entreposage et soutenir les mesures correctives
• Effectuer des évaluations et des recommandations de niveau minimal et maximal.

Exigences du poste / Qualifications

• Être titulaire d'un diplôme d'études secondaires
• Expérience dans une organisation de service à la clientèle (de préférence dans le domaine de l'aviation et/ou de l'entreposage)
• Expérience en DRMIS ou SAP
• Des compétences démontrées en Microsoft Office sont considérées comme un atout.

Summary of job description

The chosen candidate will serve on-site as a BTCL employee at designated Canadian Forces Base (CFB).

The Embedded Materiel Support Technician (EMST) role involves overseeing the management of material requirements for the Bell embedded maintenance line. Key activities will include shipping/receiving, goods issuing, and returns for all aeronautical appliances and parts maintained under the material support program, including CR&O, tooling, and newly purchased Bell & non-Bell items specific to the CH146 Griffon/MKII. Their responsibilities encompass ensuring timely processing of these items following approved publications, procedures, standards, and regulations while prioritizing the highest levels of safety and quality in all tasks. Additionally, the EMST is accountable for verifying receipt, completeness, accuracy, traceability, and maintaining all necessary documentation. The EMST will play a key role in carrying out support to the Bell maintenance.

• Provide support to Bell maintenance line for the management of the warehousing, shipping, receiving, stock control and disposal of obsolete stock and equipment;
• Process, issue and receiving items within the Defense Resource Management Information System or Bell SAP system;
• Process the return of items from the aircraft maintenance to Calgary facility for repair or other destination;
• Issue items to aircraft maintenance staff upon request;
• Handle and prepare items for shipping and with associated documents;
• Perform recordkeeping, stocktaking and inventory control as per the Military Supply Administration Manual (SAM) and the BTCL AMSO Material Support Process Manual;
• Coordinate with the DND Material Management Technician (MMT), the DND Life Cycle Material Manager (LCMM), and the Contractor Life Cycle Material Specialists (LCMS) on the repair and disposal functions,
• Operate materials-handling equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, and freight carts;
• Perform housekeeping duties within the maintenance lines or warehouse such as, but not limited to, the breakdown of boxes, cleaning of the work area, and cleaning of shelves;
• Support to internal/external audits
• Participate in any maintenance or warehousing meetings;
• On a rotation basis, support nightshift requirements. If required;
• Enter required demand for spares parts in the system or Bell SAP system and follow up with Calgary supply depo on deliveries;
• Visually inspecting components for defects and configuration;
• Verifying airworthiness documents ensuring they are complete and accurate;
• Confirming and tracking applicable shelf life and preservation requirements;
• Packaging of parts that meet or exceed customer requirements and or industry best practice;

Minimum required qualifications

Fabrication Lead

This position will lead and provide support to the Aeronautical Accessories Fabrication department and any other assigned teams by assisting departmental management, while also performing daily functional tasks and assignments.

What you’ll be doing had Fabrication Lead

• Perform all departmental tasks as needed, such as part fabrication, first piece inspection, part marking, and machine operation

The Mechanical System Design Engineer at Bell is responsible for design activities related to preparation and release of engineering data for multiple rotorcraft mechanical components including structures, controls, hydraulics, kits and other supporting components as well as subsystem integration.  Furthermore, the mechanical system design engineer supports the manufacturing, assembly and validation of these mechanical components. • Create and/or improve mechanical system definition in the form of detail, assembly and installation 2D and 3D technical data utilizing CAD software, various analytical tools, and PLM software.

As a member of Bell’s Commercial Finance team, you will be responsible for finished good inventory analysis and preparing the surplus and obsolescence reserve.  In addition, this position will be responsible for supporting the business with Inventory reductions, Business Reviews, and assist with identifying operational metrics.  This position will also analyze Spares profitability performance and work with the business to understand the underlying trends.  The role will also provide the appropriate GAAP and accounting techniques to assigned projects, provide analysis, support month-end financial closing duties, and investigate variances.

What you’ll be doing as a Financial Analyst:

·       Responsible for monthly Inventory reports, analysis, and communicating explanations for fluctuations to management.

·       Work with Integrated Operations/Finance to reserve or scrap aging production orders for work in process as well as work closely with Business Operations to forecast part performance.

·       Ensure proper accounting for Inventory and reconcile PowerBI dashboard to the general ledger.

·       Calculate and analyze the quarterly finished goods surplus and obsolescence (S&O) reserve and provision for slow moving inventory monthly.

·       Partner with business to achieve inventory reduction initiatives and help determine metrics to track progress.

·       Work with IT, the business, and co-workers to support dashboards in Power BI for Inventory and Spares, etc. as well as supporting ad hoc Aftermarket requests and helping other team members as needed.

·       Preparing quarterly program review package that analyzes top part performance and sales and cost production trends.

·       Conducting month-end close duties including the processing of journal entries, variance analysis, and monthly metrics reporting.

·       Provide assessment of procedures with the goal of identifying potential process improvements and refining current processes to achieve efficiencies, eliminate redundancies & document processes as required.

JOB SUMMARY:

 Performs the tasks of functional testing, troubleshooting, and repairing avionics systems on board the aircraft at a Textron Aviation Service Center.

• Performs the functional testing required to isolate a customer complaint in a particular avionics system and repairing that aircraft system in accordance with FAA procedures.

·        Maintain digital personnel security files and fingerprints for FLRAA Program personnel in sensitive billets and ensure that all personnel security files have required documentation for DCSA audits.

·        Administrator of collateral classification management for the FLRAA Program, responsible for classified safeguarding, marking, reproduction, generation/transmittal/receipt, retention, and destruction that complies with government and contractual requirements.

·        Maintain a close working relationship with subcontractor FSOs/Security Managers to ensure vendor facility security programs comply with government customer requirements.

·        Process and approve paperwork for new hire personnel that require access to Bell facilities. Process and route various passes and requests, including material package and parking passes. Process and follow procedures for overseas travel of employees.

·        Maintain knowledge of applicable government regulations, such as changes to 32 CFR Part 117, 2001, 2003, 2004, and/or SEAD 3 requirements, to include new Industrial Security Letters and procedures, as necessary to maintain compliance.

·        Assist the FLRAA PSM with security aspects including Personnel Security, Physical Security, processing and tracking miscellaneous security forms and logs, following intellectual property protection protocol, PII protection, property removal, Insider Threat Program, and other such policies.

·       Completion of the CDSE Facility Security Officer (FSO) course and 5+ years of Industrial Security experience preferred.

·       Knowledge/experience with 32 Part 117 2001, 2003, 2004, & SEAD 3 Requirements.

·       Possession of or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Level DoD Security Clearance is required.

·       Knowledge/experience using Microsoft Office applications.

Program Finance

As a member of Bell’s Program Finance team, you will be responsible for providing support to the Bell Program Finance team, Program Management, IPT Program Leaders and other leadership personnel in relation to Business Operations, Earned Value Management (EVM) and Financial Reporting. This position will support the recently awarded FLRAA program.

What you’ll be doing as a Financial Analyst

• Ensures integration and synchronization of cost and schedule EVM data
• Monitors, analyzes, and reports the earned value of program accomplishments
• Develops, explains, reviews, and tracks schedules to facilitate program execution
• Uses data mining techniques and applies knowledge of Bell Procurement, Pricing, Accounting and computer information systems (MRP, SAP, Accounting, Database/Access, etc.) to enhance, extract, and verify reporting information
• Prepares weekly updates to forecast data and identifies risk and opportunity items
• Explains financial variances to plan or prior forecast
• Works closely with Program Finance, Program Management, Contracts, Procurement, Subcontract Evaluation, Operations, Information Technology, Pricing, Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis and other functional organizations

You’ll work with test pilots and engineers to improve aircraft models for real-time simulation and desktop analysis.  This role will be an integral part of the team, working closely with customers and subcontractors. Summary of job description

• Develop helicopter aircraft configurations that meet the customer’s requirements as defined in a Request For Information (RFI), a Request For Proposal (RFP), a customer meeting/telecom or a discussion with a Bell Sales Representative.
• Provide technical write-ups / responses for RFI / RFP responses and as requested by Bell Marketing & Sales personnel worldwide.
• Manage the Apttus tool by writing/correcting rules and updating the selectable customizing options as new vendor offerings become available.
• Coordinate and support meetings with external (suppliers or partners), as required.
• Travel domestically or internationally as required to support the Commercial Marketing & Sales team.
• Provide feedback to the Program Director on major competitive bids and recommendations relative to emerging customer requirements that may positively or negatively impact Bell’s future ability to compete.
• Coordinate and host internal supplier product briefings to stay abreast of new product developments within the industry.

Minimum required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related technical field required.
• 6+ years of SME Expertise in 429 aircraft required
• Technical understanding in helicopter performance analysis, helicopter components and operation with emphasis on avionics
• Understanding of Engineering design and aircraft certification requirements
• Detail oriented, yet ability to decipher requirements from vague statements
• Familiar with ITAR
• Familiar with helicopter manufacturing sequence and customizing process
• Excellent Interpersonal, Communication and Technical writing skills are required
• Functional knowledge in French is required.
