JOB SUMMARY:

The Technical Specialist, Airframe Fatigue and Damage Tolerance, creates analysis reports and prepares test plans to support the design, development, manufacture, structural test, flight test, certification and continued airworthiness of Bell's commercial product line. Summary of job description

• Perform fatigue analysis using industry standard calculations methods and finite element analysis methods
• Perform damage tolerance analysis (crack propagation) using industry standard calculations
• Prepares structural test plans by defining the requirements and objectives in accordance with the certification regulation for the certification of helicopters.
• Support the structural test team by validating the test results and providing direction during test preparation and execution.
• Support the design team by applying design factors such as function, materials, performance, interchangeability, weight in relation with the fatigue requirements.
• Applies scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure the outcome and consequence of design, in terms of stress, strength, life, and alternatives.
• Methods include the use of CATIA V6 / CATIA V5 and a balance of classical hand calculations and FE tools to develop high performance airframe structures.

Bell is seeking H-1 Upgrade Senior Intermediate Service Representatives (ISR’s) to support MALS-39. 

The Senior Intermediate Service Representatives will support Bell’s H-1 Upgrade (AH-1Z and UH-1Y) platforms for the purpose of providing on-site liaison and maintenance instruction services to assist MALS personnel in becoming proficient with intermediate repair, restoration, inspection, and return to service for critical H-1 components. This level of support is expected to increase local repairs, improve component beyond capability maintenance (BCM) rejections rates and improve component repair turn-around time (TAT) that supports the reduction of maintenance material cost and assists with improving readiness. 

Duties to include providing technical guidance, instruction, technique, and training to resolve a broad array of discrepancies that supports and returns to service critical H1 components. The selected candidate must have a strong intermediate level background in H-1 (Y&Z) aircraft Mechanical and/or Avionics systems. This position will be based CONUS at Camp Pendleton, CA.

What you’ll be doing as a Senior Intermediate Service Representatives :

• Providing system-specific technical briefings to MALS personnel
• Applicant is responsible for assisting military logisticians, maintenance, and Field Support Representatives (FSR’s) in developing and executing materiel and process improvements.
• Candidate will interface with Bell program management to coordinate, advise, and act as a consultant regarding supply & maintenance planning, test and support equipment, transportation, and handling (PHS&T), facilities, data, and computer resources, and expediting material from other areas that concern MALS support.
• Providing on-site academic instruction and on-equipment proficiency training on the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting techniques, and operation pertaining to the routine maintenance, inspection, adjustment, repair and Built in Test of prime systems and equipment
• Provide ad-hoc training and prepared training materials as required
• Assisting, training, and demonstrating the best methods of installations, modifications and use of retrofit kits, with heavy emphasis on safety precautions
• Providing advice and coordinate with the customer, Logistics Support Representatives (LSR’s) and/or vendors on supply support problems, which require manufacturer and/or cross-reference of manufacturer-to-Navy part numbers.
• Coordinate pre-deployment planning for the provisioning of personnel, facilities, SE, and services for supported squadrons.
• Screen appropriate Marine Aviation Logistics Support Program (MALSP) and Individual Material Readiness List (IMRL) allowances to ensure they are tailored to support the quantity and type aircraft assigned to the MAG squadrons.
• Maintain liaison with supported squadron Maintenance Material Control (MATCON) Centers and the Aviation Support Division (ASD) and ensure adequate communications exist between the MALS Maintenance Work Centers and Supply
• Assist squadrons in obtaining engineering technical assistance
• Aid in ensuring an aggressive and effective management program is in place to control cannibalization of aeronautical equipment. To the maximum extent possible, ensure selective cannibalization actions are planned to prevent aircraft from being in a non-flyable status for more than 30 consecutive days.
• Provide status and metrics to Bell and/or USG as required or requested
• Participate in on-site Hazardous Material Report/EI evaluations
• Rendering technical assistance to resolve difficult and unusual aircraft system anomalies
• Analysis of aircraft system anomalies and recommending the supported activities of changes to maintenance, inspection, and training programs designed to improve the quality of aircraft system support
• Technical Assistance, liaison to control, disseminate, and request data through which technical information and engineering data related to aircraft and operational procedures available at the Contractor’s facility, can quickly be disseminated to MALS personnel as required
• Supporting and attending Logistics/Technical support meetings, briefings, and telecoms as directed by Bell and the USG
• The capability of traveling to any area of operation when required for extended periods
• All contractor personnel with access to unclassified information systems, including e-mail, shall have at a minimum a favorable Tier 3 (T3) investigation

Skills You Bring To this Role:

• Preference for recent active-duty USMC H-1 upgrade experience (Officer/Enlisted), specifically in Mechanical, Hydraulics, Avionics, Electrical Systems, at the O or I level 
• Familiarity with Marine Aviation Logistics Squadrons and supporting H-1 aircraft squadrons. 
• Capacity to rapidly learn, access, and use Bell’s SAP inventory and MRP systems in the conduct of the position.
• Working knowledge of Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS) and Relational Supply (R-Supply) maintenance and supply IT systems
• Personal computer proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and database applications is required.
• Excellent oral and writing skills are required.
• FAA A&P license, FCC General Radio Telephone License or equivalent military experience is preferred.

• 5+ years of extensive maintenance experience with Bell H-1 (AH-1W, UH-1Y, AH-1Z) military aircraft

Textron Financial Corporation (TFC) is seeking an experienced paralegal / legal assistant / contract administrator to join the legal team and assist the General Counsel with the preparation of reports, corporate records, managing the case management and invoicing systems, discovery matters, and other legal matters on a regular basis.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Independently draft and prepare corporate minutes, signature authority documents, evidence of officer and director changes, annual meeting minutes and corporate changes for TFC and its entities, including retention and organization of corporate secretary records.
• Manage matter management and corporate summaries that occur between Textron Inc. and TFC. 
• Manage the legal expense process.
• Compose legal documents, correspondence, and other items of a confidential and complex nature.
• Oversee (including preparation of documents) contract renewals and amendments for international employees and servicing agreements among Textron entities.
• Review and analyze all legal invoices and expenses for compliance with company policies and guidelines and document any statements that qualify as an exception.
• Negotiate with outside counsel on fee reduction, repayment of overpaid fees and charges that are outside of policy.

Working with cross-functional commodity teams, the Non-destructive Testing (NDT) Quality Engineer is responsible for all NDT activities at Lycoming and evaluating/ approving external supplier NDT processes when necessary. These activities include establishing Quality System, Procedures, and Techniques for Magnetic Particle Inspection, Penetrant Inspection and Radiography. The NDT Quality Engineer will be responsible for NDT training and testing according to industry and Lycoming standards. Be responsible for conducting internal and external supplier quality system and process assessments and improvements.

Responsibilities to Include:

·        Develop NDT procedure(s), techniques, calibration methods, equipment evaluation for Magnetic particle Inspection, Penetrant Inspection and Radiography.

About This Role

Textron Systems Slidell, LA, or Wilmington, MA (Land, Sea, Weapons, and Howe & Howe) is seeking an experienced Export Compliance professional to manage our expanding regulatory compliance and contractual obligations in our defense line of business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success managing export and import compliance in an weapon, marine, and land vehicle/defense environment and have an extensive knowledge of the International in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations, and Customs Regulations, and must also have excellent communication skills. The Manager Export/Import Compliance will proactively oversee all export and import compliance matters for various businesses within Textron Systems located in Hunt Valley, Maryland.  This person will interact with employees at all levels and will work both independently and with other members of the business and members of the Legal, Contracts and Compliance staff on a variety of interesting international trade compliance matters.  The role requires successful management of a broad range of responsibilities in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

Responsibilities:

·         Serve as an Empowered Official

·         Provide a full range of proactive export/import compliance guidance to program management, contracts, procurement, business development, shipping, security and other functional areas within the Company

·         Prepare and submit Directorate of Defense Trade Controls and Commerce license applications, Technical Assistance Agreements, Manufacturing License Agreements and Warehousing Distribution Agreements

JOB SUMMARY

To assure surfaces of aircraft are smooth and prepared for primer and finish paint application; apply finishes to a variety of parts, assemblies and/or completed aircraft. Learn the correct procedures to apply prime and finish coat to a variety of aircraft.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works in accordance with general safety procedures to avoid accidents. Maintains protective safety equipment such as goggles, masks and respirators in proper working order which may include cleaning and replacing filters. 
• Performs surface preparation of aircraft prior to painting. Marks areas to be filled. Mixes hardener and filler. Applies hardener and filler to unfinished areas needing smoothing and contouring. Visually checks surface for discrepancies in paint to assure conformity to desired specifications and learns to perform complicated rework.
• Uses conventional air and HVLP spray painting equipment and is familiar with airless spray-painting equipment. Uses simple hand tools and some measuring equipment (i.e. a Zahn cup). Ascertains whether paint spraying equipment is in good operating order before and after spray painting assignments.
• Spray primer, paint filler and protective paint on prepared surfaces.
• Prepares plastic, fiberglass, or composite parts of aircraft using filler to provide uniform surface for paint adhesion. Uses painting equipment including brushes and spray guns to perform minor rework, touchup, priming, finish painting of partial aircraft when not otherwise engaged in paint preparation duties.

Bell is seeking a Customer Service Engineer (CSE), based remotely in the UAE, to support Bell customers in the UAE and EMEA region.   

The individual selected for this role will deliver world-class technical support to Bell aircraft owners in the region.  

This individual is a direct link for the customer to Bell support including technical assistance, aircraft operational guidance, logistical assistance, and sales support.

Job Responsibilities:

·       Responsible to represent Bell to our customers throughout the world.

·       To develop and enhance customer satisfaction by providing a direct link between various Bell entities and our customers leading to a great customer experience and increased sales.

Technical Support:

·       Consults on customer technical issues to maintain, repair, and upgrade aircraft.

Aerospace Rapid Prototyping Experimental Engineer

This is a technical position within Bell’s Rapid Prototyping (RP) organization. The RP organization serves Bell’s Program teams by transforming their designs into concept demo air vehicles. Concept demo air vehicles include both clean-sheet and existing air vehicle modifications. RP is expected to establish and foster relationships with program teams (customers) to build trust and meet performance expectations.

In this role, the Experimental Engineer will be deployed to RP’s experimental engineering team supporting Bell’s Flight Research Center (FRC). The candidate will perform experimental airframe design activities related to the preparation, conversion, and release of engineering data.

Also, this position has responsibilities for compliance to the design requirements manual, A/F design manual, best practices, customer specifications, military standards, Bell procedures, and program directives. As a member of the Textron Tax Team, the Tax Reporting Manager will be involved in preparation and review of the Company’s quarterly tax reporting requirements using guidance based on ASC-740, Accounting for Income Taxes.  In this endeavor, the manager will collaborate with team members across all tax groups (Textron Aviation, Bell, Compliance, Research and Planning, Reporting).

Responsibilities:

• Support tax accounting under ASC 740 including quarterly and annual calculations of the effective tax rate, balance sheet and external tax disclosures (Forms 10K, 10Q, etc.)
• Support cash tax forecasting and quarterly and annual effective tax rates based on current year, annual operating plans (“AOP”), long range plan (“LRP”)
• Support the income tax accounting for acquisitions and divestitures and assist with the tax portion of M&A transactions including the analysis and recording of opening balance sheet deferred taxes, due diligence, and integration
• Support Transfer Pricing compliance and operations
• Perform technical research and analysis with written memorandum, ultimately concluding with a recommendation and implementation plan once approved

Responsibilities:

Aircraft Cybersecurity Test Engineer, Must be able to gain and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance 

Bring your experience to become a cyber test engineer and be responsible for adversarial, verification and certification of aircraft systems and components for test and evaluation of manned and optionally manned aircraft. 

You’ll work with test pilots, design engineers and simulation lab engineers to develop and implement test scenarios, test procedures and test plans that will improve aircraft security using advanced cyber tools and benches.  This role will be an integral part of the team, working closely with customers and subcontractors. 

You’ll be able to hone your technical abilities on significant engineering problems, all while gaining experience in leadership and communication.

What you’ll be doing as a Aircraft Cybersecurity Test Engineer: 

• Take part in the organization, planning, and management of new and existing aircraft to conduct cyber testing to meet customer defined requirements supporting aircraft qualification, security assessments, requirements validation and penetration testing.
• Build and integrate custom tools, tests, and research test equipment provide cutting edge testing to aircraft systems and sensors.
• Develop and execute cybersecurity test procedures based on program test plans for future and existing aircraft systems.
• Support new aircraft and technology development as well as proprietary adversarial testing tools and techniques.
• Create detailed diagrams of data interfaces for Ethernet, serial and various avionics bus protocols and support throughout the entire software development life cycle from requirements definition to product deployment.
• Support test planning and coordination with the customer in the execution of engineering design milestones.

Skills You Bring To this Role: 

• Possess a thorough knowledge and have experience in penetration or adversarial testing, cyber threat analysis, vulnerability detection / exploitation, adversarial attack development, and system exploitation on physical network architectures.
• Experienced in traditional IEEE (802.1, 802.11 and 802.3) AND non-traditional (ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, CAN, AFDX and 802.1DP) bus analysis and testing.

Training apprentices will assist in the repair, maintenance and troubleshooting of airframes, engine systems, parts, and components.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

I.          Assist mechanics with a variety of mechanical duties on various aircraft models involving diagnosis of malfunctions and required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, or adjustment of various aircraft systems to prepare aircraft for flight and delivery to customer.

II.         Utilize equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, and a variety of hand tools to assist mechanics with repairing or modifying systems or assemblies.

IV.        Maintain, watch, and meet aircraft on taxi ramp.

V.         Tow, park, and secure aircraft at various ramp and hangar locations.

VI.        Inventory and store personal contents as required.

VII.       Wash, clean, polish and/or wax exterior; clean and service interior of aircraft.

VIII.      Defuel and fuel aircraft.

IX.        Complete fuel usage forms and records.

X.         Position and operate ground power and other aircraft service units

XI.        Perform general cleaning of ramps and service center facilities

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Primary Purpose:

Provides technical factory service support of Lycoming's products to OEM, distributors, and individual customers through effective communications and field visits. Provides documentation to support service experience through the SIR system. Coordinates service issues with the warranty function as necessary. Exigences du poste / Qualifications

Summary of job description

The Records Control Specialist will, amongst other things, play a crucial role in maintaining the airworthiness of all CH146 aircraft at the assigned unit through close monitoring and management of all aircraft maintenance record sets. The Records Control Specialist will be reporting to the on-site BTCL aircraft maintenance supervisor and assume the following functions and tasks.

• Verify and review all assigned aircraft maintenance records to ensure that all maintenance data recorded is accurate and is in accordance with the Canadian Forces airworthiness regulations and policies.
• Manage individual special inspections, modifications or special information instructions on assigned aircraft. Provide performance statistics associated with these elements to the Squadron Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Officer or to the BTCL CH146 Senior Maintenance Manager as required.
• When required, carry out the transfer of maintenance data on the ADAM system from commercial work orders.
• Manage the aircraft maintenance induction schedule and review ADAM documentation requirements prior to aircraft induction into maintenance.
• Notify the on-site BTCL Material Representative of parts requirements prior to induction.
• Maintain statistics related to 100% audit findings and accuracy of the maintenance records and submit to the BTCL Senior Maintenance Manager.
• Participate in the conduct of annual audits by the Canadian Governmental Program Quality Assurance section, and those conducted by the Department of National Defense.
• Support the on-site Supervisor with all Flight Safety (FS) occurrences reporting and investigation.
• When required, participate in CH146 Aircraft Maintenance Control and Records Officer briefing sessions.
• Provide assistance to the Squadron’s AMCRO section.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director, Canadian Government Programs, or by the BTCL Senior Maintenance Manager for the CH146.

Minimum required qualifications

• Have held a Level A or Level C certification in the Canadian Forces as an aircraft technician, preferably on the CH146 aircraft.
• High School diploma is required. College degree in aircraft maintenance is preferred.
• A minimum of ten (8) years of experience in a position of aircraft technician (Level A) or maintenance team lead (Level C) in the Canadian Forces
• Minimum of three (3) years of prior experience in the Canadian Forces as a member of an AMCRO section, preferably on the CH146.
• In depth familiarity and experience with the Canadian Forces Technical Orders (CFTO) is essential, particularly C-05-005-P04/AM-001 – Aircraft Maintenance Record Set.
• Functional knowledge in French is required. 
• Excellent knowledge in English is required for this position, as it involves communication in English with Bell teams outside of Quebec and/or its suppliers, partners, and clients outside of Quebec.

JOB SUMMARY:

Interns will work closely with Customer Service Managers and Technical Service Managers to help resolve customer requests and issues. This role will place the intern as the link between the customer and aftermarket team to ensure proper communication between the two. Interns will help and develop retention strategies of customers.

• Coordinate and communicate all aircraft issues with the customers
• Meet customer upon arrival, review work scope with customer, and add squawks as required during arrival debrief

o Installs, as required, a variety of line shortage items which may involve disassembly and

o Performs functional checks of all mechanical systems such as engines and flight controls,
fuel, oxygen and hydraulic systems making necessary corrections and adjusting for flight.
o Sets instruments, tests run engines, rigs and synchronized throttles and sets stops.
o Works flight test and inspection squawks making necessary adjustments or corrections.
o Assists Flight Mechanic A with unusual and more difficult flight line problems.
o Maintains clean working area.
• Required to taxi aircraft to check systems and components.
• Uses a variety of mechanic hand tools and equipment such as tensiometers, timing lights, scale

Education:

Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification. Must have knowledge of electrical and electronic principles use of test equipment, and ability to interpret schematic drawings, blueprints, and specifications. At least one-year formal training in fundamental electricity and electronics preferred. Required to have knowledge of systems and shop application of test equipment.

Experience:

A minimum of 1 year diversified aircraft experience including wire bundle routing and installation. Demonstrate the ability to read and understand schematic drawings, basic electrical fundamentals, and the use of multi-meters.

About This Role
This leadership position will report to the Sr. Vice President ATAC. The Sr. SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) Configuration Analyst role is a hands-on role using analytical, consulting, business knowledge, and application solution expertise to effectively integrate and implement technology solutions into the business environment.

Responsibilities:

·       Understand the compliance handbook and actively support the  development, communication and all compliance activity

·       Support all plans and site activites related to the management of quality and environment systems

·       Responsible for the operational balance sheet and reconciliations including investigation and reporting of irregularities

·       Coordinates the gathering of information and processes accounts for the Month end close process

·       Assist Program Mgt. In costing of new products/programs

·       Assist Controller in Month-end packages

·       Administers Textron Enterprise Programs ie: Ariba, Captura, etc

·       Process's all payables, including record keeping of these transactions, for Finance Department within the facility

·       Ensure that purchase ledgers are administered efficiently and accurately with all payments being made on time

Experience:

·       Good understanding of Excel/ ERP

·       Have good written and verbal communication skills

·       Accounting knowledge

·       Good English and German language skills
