What you will be doing as an A & P Mechanic (Independence, KS):

Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

• Mechanical Duties: Diagnose malfunctions, disassemble, rework, repair, replace, reassemble, and adjust various systems to prepare aircraft for flight and delivery
• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Perform troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, engine runs, and install service bulletins and kits on airframes and engines
• Safety Standards: Execute tasks adhering to the highest safety standards
• Record Keeping: Make appropriate entries in aircraft records and complete return-to-service logbook entries
• Engine Maintenance: Conduct engine maintenance on airworthy aircraft and perform annual and continued airworthiness inspections
• Leadership & Training: Train team members, assist in certifications, lead important projects, and drive safety or quality improvements

•       A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification is required

Under the general supervision of a supervisor or an employee of equal or higher rank, Mfg. Eng. Resource Planner III is responsible for administering effective allocation of manufacturing resources for process planning creation and maintenance.  Responsible for BOM consumption, Computer Aided Planning (CAP) routing creation and manufacturing items orders for manufacturing operations in Bell business systems.  When a Manufacturing Computer Aided Design (MCAD) model exists, not responsible for creation and maintenance of manufacturing instructions (2D drawings).  Must have knowledge of shop production and processing operations.  Work in accordance with management strategies and concepts as well as program and departmental processes and procedures using Bell Business Systems.  May train one or more employees.

Work Performed:

·         Interrogate, analyze, comprehend, and interpret various Engineering Drawings, Models, Bills of Materials, Technical Specifications, Quality Documents, Bell Process Framework, and departmental procedures as necessary to perform assigned work.

·         Responsible for accurate BOM management and consumption for manufacturing operations.

·         Create and Maintain proper work sequence documentation and CAP routings.

·         Responsible for creating manufacturing items orders/requests including but not limited to NC Programs, Tools/Fixtures, and Gages.

Summary of job description

• Address and resolve metallurgical problems or issues in the production, quality assurance, supplier, procurement and product support areas.

To assure surfaces of aircraft are smooth and prepared for primer and finish paint application; apply
finishes to a variety of parts, assemblies and/or completed aircraft.

Job Responsibilities:
• Performs surface preparation of aircraft prior to painting. Marks areas to be filled. Mixes hardener
and filler. Applies hardener and filler to unfinished areas needing smoothing and contouring.
• Spray primer, paint filler and protective paint on prepared surfaces.
• Prepares plastic or fiberglass parts of aircraft using filler to provide uniform surface for paint
adhesion. Uses painting equipment including brushes and spray guns to perform minor rework,
touchup, priming, finish painting of partial aircraft when not otherwise engaged in paint
preparation duties.
• Refurbishment aircraft – applies chemical paint removers.
• Roughs and finishes aircraft parts using various types of sandpaper and hand sanding machines
to provide surface for paint adhesion and smooth appearance.
• Works from oral and written instructions and established procedures.
• Prepares painted surfaces. Spray primers or various paint finishes to parts, assemblies, or
completed aircraft. Uses some judgment in obtaining desired finish. May work under the guidance
and instruction of Completions Painter A and CL-Completions Painter A.
• Professionally applies paint to surface maintaining finish requirements acceptable to shop
supervision and quality control.

Experimental Process Inspector

Function/Program: Quality

Work Performed:

·         A very wide variety of inspection operations on experimental parts or components for use in experimental, prototype, or development aircraft only. Components that are not attached to products currently in production. Inspection of rework can only be performed on experimental or prototype parts.

·         Sets up, Operates, and Interprets quality inspection results from advanced equipment and technology, including but not limited to Coordinate measuring machines, non-contact metrology equipment, gear measurement machine, surface analyzers and various other advanced integrated systems and makes complex layouts and setups on surface plates to inspect a variety of part types to close tolerances

·         Advises and assist engineers or other personnel in the development of new inspection methods resulting in efficient and repeatable set-ups within an inspection environment for use by all levels and capabilities on the equipment.

·         Performs a variety of inspections to include but not limited to: GD&T (geometrical dimension and tolerances), complex surface plate layout, advanced case set interrogation, threaded features, hardness evaluation, linear dimensions, form dimensions and gear tooth geometry. Works from drawings, 3D models, engineering orders, sketches or verbal instructions.

Summary of job description

The Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineering team is responsible for managing the supply base for Bell. This includes both tactical and strategic efforts. The tactical efforts are generally technical support for specific parts, assemblies, or programs at a supplier. Strategic efforts are more general overall enterprise efforts not specifically related to any part, assembly, or program. The overall mission is to ensure material availability in support of all Bell Assembly and Manufacturing facilities that meets quality and safety standards.

What you’ll be doing as a Supply Chain Senior Manufacturing Engineer Projects

• Review and provide producibility feedback for new designs related to technical specifications to ensure supplier has the manufacturing processes and capabilities to produce quality parts that meet specifications
• Identify, investigate, and resolve supplier related technical issues both at Bell and at suppliers by reviewing manufacturing processes as well as design requirements and providing technical expertise to aide in process and quality improvements.
• Identify and resolve technical capability gaps in Bell’s supply base by reviewing existing Bell supply base and potential new supplier technical abilities and processes.
• Review root cause corrective action for supplier material discrepancy submittals.
• Studying requirements for production process and product at hand, and determining the most efficient operations based on these requirements and sharing that expertise with internal customers and external suppliers
• Provide technical / manufacturing Engineering interface between Supplier manufacturing and Bell program Engineering to ensure producible designs
• Provide technical expertise on the design on machines, equipment, tooling, and manufacturing processes. 
• Work with suppliers to develop and execute plans to address technical issues related to a supplier’s performance.  
• Consult and work with suppliers that may include design interpretation, defect root cause analysis, production methods, processing, tooling, inspection techniques, etc.  
• Assist the buyers to find solution when needed in the case where Bell is not getting the supplier’s parts on time to support our operations. 

Minimum required qualifications

• Excellent communication skills are required.  An SCME must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with peers, internal and external customers, suppliers, and brief leaders/customers.
• A technical understanding of mechanical / electrical assembly processes, tooling, or design, as well as non-metallic composite processes and assemblies.
• The ability to identify and prioritize both explicit and implicit tasks in order to accomplish the mission.

Summary of job description

• The Supervisor, Material Distribution, reports to the Director PC&L.
• Manage all routing of materials with a view to optimizing production plans, part supplies to business partners and spare part sales while minimizing the impact of flow interruptions, inventory accumulation on shipping and receiving docks and in the production areas as well as on health and safety, etc.
• Make good on deliverables, see to managing day-to-day priorities and identifying hazardous situations and potential issues, making certain these are then resolved.
• Apply policies, procedures and strategies to optimize distribution networks to multiple recipients according to their needs and requirements while also offering them valued-added logistics services, as effectively as possible, to safeguard part quality, including ’milk runs’, merchandise wrapping and unwrapping, as required.   
• Maintain accurate inventory levels within the warehouse (PSI) over and above Textron’s, Bell Helicopter’s and the external auditors’ standards. 
• Make sure that parts and equipment are distributed efficiently to the various value streams by developing delivery schedules that meet with their approval while insuring optimal Work In Progress (WIP) levels.
• Apply and make certain that all team members implement health and safety standards and foster a preventive attitude in their daily work. Minimum required qualifications

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for carrying out avionics/electrical system installation and troubleshooting duties on experimental aircraft.  Required to perform these duties in support of new product and sustaining aircraft designs.

Assembler Mechanic

This position will be responsible for working on and around aircraft such as; Bell V22 Osprey, H1 Viper, H1 Venom, or 525 Relentless. The Assembler Mechanic will be responsible for structural or mechanical assembled parts on aircraft, while keeping proficient records of the aircraft completion status daily.  

What you’ll be doing as an Assembler Mechanic

• Drilling close tolerance holes using a variety of hand drills/power feed drills.
• Multiple types of fastener installations in composite and sheet metal.
• Installs, fits, and adjusts parts or assemblies where difficult installations, alignments or adjustments are necessary while conforming to technical directives/specifications.
• Required to work from blueprints or project sketches and templates with or without the use of tooling jigs or fixtures.

• May require some composite and fiberglass bond layup or repair.

525 Lead Assembler 

The Lead Assembler position is intended to leverage shop floor supervision through extensive knowledge, experience, and leadership abilities.  The Lead Assembler acts as a liaison between the Supervisor and shop floor personnel to execute the supervisor's daily work plan. This is a direct charging position that reports to the Supervisor in charge of a given area. The Lead Assembler also assumes a leadership role for the assigned work area, be it a fixture, aircraft, or portion of a facility.

2. Spray primer, paint filler and protective paint on prepared surfaces. Uses some judgment in obtaining desired finish. May work under the guidance and instruction of a Painter or Subject Matter Expert
3. Prepares plastic or fiberglass parts of aircraft using filler to provide uniform surface for paint adhesion.
4. Roughs and finishes aircraft parts using various types of sandpaper and hand sanding machines to provide surface for paint adhesion and smooth appearance.
5. May spray primers or various paint finishes to parts, assemblies or completed aircraft.
6. Responsible for the quality of own work.
7. Uses painting equipment including brushes and spray guns to perform minor rework, touchup, priming, finish painting of partial aircraft when not otherwise engaged in paint preparation duties.
8. Other duties – applying alodine, washing aircraft or sealing a variety of components.

What you will be doing as a Technical Service Manager:

In this role, you can expect to be the main point of contact for all aircraft maintenance, ensuring smooth hangar operations and supporting the maintenance manager. You’ll work in a team environment providing crucial updates to the Customer Service Manager to help maintain positive relationships with customers. As a supervisor, you’ll lead a team of technicians within the service center.

Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

• Lean Manufacturing: Implement lean processes aiming to reduce waste and improve productivity (focusing on the5S method) and coordinating Area Team Development events
• Quality Assurance: Ensure work meets established policies, procedures, and quality standards to help maintain customer safety and satisfaction
• Safety & Efficiency: Oversee safety protocols, quality control, schedule adherence, and overall efficiency at the Service Center, ensuring a safe and productive environment
• Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze shop performance metrics (LUE, Billing Efficiency, Productivity, schedule adherence) with the Maintenance Manager to identify trends and implement corrective actions

JOB SUMMARY:

To perform and maintain proper inspection standards, methods and procedures used by the Service Center in complying with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturer's recommendations.

·         Maintains a current file of FAA specifications, certificate data sheets and airworthiness directives.

·         Makes periodic checks on all tooling, including calibration of precision test equipment as outlined in the Overhaul Manuals and the FAA Repair Station Manuals. Ensures no defective or unairworthy parts are installed on any product released by the Service Center.

·         Inspects and accepts all incoming material, i.e. new parts, supplies, and repaired parts from contract service per the quality and repair station manuals.

·         Ensures proper tagging and identification of all parts during the maintenance process.

·         Evaluates inspection records, reports, forms, and procedures for compliance to Quality standards.

·         Uses Textron and Vendor Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Manual, Structural Repair Manuals, Wiring Diagrams, EEDS/DDS, and other approved technical publications.

·         Develops familiarity with Required Inspection Item (RII) requirements, part 135 requirements and understands the requirements and use of the Master Equipment List (MEL).

·         Performs periodic aircraft walkaround surveys for tracking of proper usage of all forms as well as the surrounding area to be free of any known hazards.

·         Understand and organize the required aircraft inspections and maintaining of files with completed work orders and inspection forms in an efficient system for easy review by supervisor or Lead Inspector.

EDUCATION:

·         High School education or equivalent is required

·         Requires use of arithmetic, blueprints, and specifications plus knowledge of jet and piston airframe and engine principles and mechanical systems.

·         A&P License required.

EXPERIENCE:

·         Requires minimum of 3 years diversified A&P mechanic experience on jet and turboprop 100 hour and annual service experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport authority, if applicable.

Primary Purpose:

Provides technical factory service support of Lycoming's products to OEM, distributors, and individual customers through effective communications and field visits. Ensures that feedback of service issues reaches the appropriate personnel for effective problem resolution. Maintains familiarity with all engine systems and models. Provides documentation to support service experience through the SIR system. Coordinates service issues with the warranty function as necessary. Recommends changes in procedures, design, equipment or suppliers based on analysis of information received through contact with customers.

Responsibilities:

·         Provide technical guidance and solutions to customer’s technical needs

·         Interfaces with Account Managers, Product Managers and Sales

·         Responsible for coordinating all company resources (COE, Product Engineering, Product line) in order to conduct Applications Project(s)

·         Supports Sales in the identification of Customer requirements, specifications and preferences

·         Develops product solutions (Product & Use recommendations) for Customer Specific Applications

·         May create new Product proposals for Customer Specific Applications using company’s established features and processes

·         Conducts existing Products modifications in order to fit with Customer specific applications

·         Manages VA/VE initiatives (Tear Down, Line Review) as assigned

·         Develops and maintains a good customer rapport and a positive image through the Customer contacts

·         Participates in training and technical sessions

·         Completes and submits on a timely basis all required internal information, reports and documents

Education:

About This Role

The Sr. Financial Analyst will be primarily responsible for performing detailed financial analysis and reporting for their assigned contracts.  In this role, the Sr. Analyst will interact closely with the program teams and functional departments to ensure the accuracy of monthly cost projections, and sales and profit forecasts. 

Job Summary:
The Sr. Financial Analyst position conducts analysis, maintains forecasts, and provides EACs for various programs. Under the direction of the Director Finance, the Sr. Analyst will generate and track monthly budgets, cost projections, and sales and profit estimates, in addition to various Earned Value reports.

Responsibilities will include the following:

• Use analysis and financial data to advise program managers and business leaders during monthly reviews and during critical business decisions
• Serve as primary liaison between Finance and Program leadership teams
• Provide real time information to Director, Finance regarding changes in program financials and execution

Compliance Specialist

As part of the Lycoming and greater Textron Systems Legal Department, you will be part of a dedicated and diverse team of in-house attorneys and professionals. In this position, you will report to Textron System’s Ethics and Compliance manager and work in conjunction with the Global Trade Compliance teams.  The Compliance Specialist will be based in Williamsport, Pennsylvania (100% in office) and will play a key role in building and driving our Ethics, Compliance, and Global Trade programs by managing strategic and operational initiatives.  

The position primarily supports Lycoming’s ethics and compliance activities across a broad range of topics including anti-bribery & corruption risk management, Ethics investigations, and compliance program efforts and may have overlap into the larger Textron Systems E&C Program deliverables. Will proactively support all export and import compliance matters for Lycoming. S/he will interact with employees at all levels and will work both independently and with other members of the business and members of the Legal, Contracts and Compliance staff on a variety of interesting international trade compliance matters. The successful candidate must be approachable, vocal, solution focused, and proactive.  This position requires a candidate with a broad range of compliance skills to be applied both domestically and internationally.  Candidates with experience in aviation or cross-border international business is preferred.

 Global Trade Compliance Responsibilities 

Interface with Export and Import Analyst on Customs Brokers and covered business partner matters

·       Direct U.S. imports for repair parts using TIB and HTS chapter 98 to the Import Analyst

• Provide a full range of proactive export/import compliance guidance to program management, contracts, procurement, business development, shipping, security and other functional areas within the Company
• Determine the applicability of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) exemptions, ECCNs and use of Commerce exceptions
• Review and approve Foreign Visit Notifications and conduct restricted party screenings

·       Review and direct shipping request to the appropriate personnel

• Review and approval of commercial invoices and shipping process and coordination of freight forwarder requirements
• Perform other compliance activities as determined by the Manager of Export/Import Compliance

Ethics and Compliance Responsibilities

• Conduct Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) due diligence reviews of businesses and individuals operating across the globe through outlined policy steps including document gathering, application reviews, Restricted Party Screening, media searches, and red flag clearing 
• Provide administrative support for systems and controls designed to mitigate bribery and corruption risk, money laundering risk, and general compliance efforts related to the management of third parties 
•  Monitor existing partnership agreements for expirations and complete reviews on time while identifying applicable risk and escalating to leadership where appropriate
• Conduct fact-finding and pre-investigation of matters, collaborating with others on investigations, supporting the E&C manager in investigations pertaining to potential violations of Company policy and applicable laws, and assist with ethics investigations raised through the Textron Help-Line and other reporting channels
• Draft compliance communications on timely and relevant topics and create content for intranet site
• Support overall E&C training initiatives by conducting live training to employees on a variety of E&C related topics
• Prepare professional, high quality and detailed due diligence reports to properly and completely document findings
• Assist with compliance special projects as needed, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
• Coordinate with the Textron Corporate Ethics & Compliance team as required.

About this Role

The Sourcing Manager is responsible for establishing and executing the supply chain strategy to successfully support new development or existing production programs. The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for representing procurement to the program and engineering teams and must work collaboratively across all functions. This role will also be responsible for supplier evaluation and selection, negotiation and establishing long term contracts and management of complex supplier programs, in coordination with other supply chain teams.

The Supplier Development Engineer is responsible for delivering strategic and tactical supply chain activities for our supply base to effectively support all Textron Systems’ businesses across all site locations with a focus on overall external supply chain improvement.

The Supplier Development Engineer is specifically responsible for driving results with our suppliers across multiple supply categories including mechanical and/or electrical parts and assemblies in all facets of performance, including cost, delivery and quality. This role will report directly to the Manager of Supplier Development within the Supply Chain organization.

Key responsibilities: 

·       Develop Relationships throughout the Supply Base and connect that network with Internal customers and drive Quality into the foundation for execution

·       Perform and/or participate in source qualification by performing quality management system surveys and special process surveys.

·       Solicit supplier inputs into product design, considering design for manufacturability, cost, reliability, parts availability, and more.

·       Perform Manufacturing Readiness Assessments (MRA) as appropriate for suppliers.

·       Lead management of critical supplier issues to improve overall execution.

·       Lead risk assessments via FMEA/Risk Cubes, RCCA, countermeasures and supplier scorecard reviews.

·       Perform data analysis and issue reports on supplier performance to ensure suppliers meet and maintain expected performance levels inclusive of quality and delivery.

·       Wide bandwidth knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical design and awareness of lean manufacturing principles and the identification of key performance parameters (KPPs)

·       Ability to analyze and understand technical drawings, ( and/or electrical schematics, wiring diagrams), Model Based Definition Files, preliminary bills of material (BOM), engineering sketches, CAD models, prototypes, specifications, and ad-hoc requirements.

·       Knowledge of ISO 9001-based quality systems, AS9100, and AS9102.

Position Title:         Technical Publications Supervisor

Job Summary:

This position oversees creation of documentation that is accurate, complete, unambiguous, and as concise as possible. This includes supervision of the Technical Publications staff to ensure that the formatting conventions described in ATA100 for civil aircraft are met.  Position strives to meet core business objectives, while ensuring customer satisfaction, and industry and FAA standards are attained and maintained with all products.

Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:  

1. Direct technical publications staff. Develop goals, objectives, and prioritize workload. Make decisions to hire or terminate, train in methods and procedures, counsel employees and make other personnel decisions as required.
2. Direct and coordinate technical manual editing, composition, production and delivery in accordance with applicable specifications, standards, and other requirements.
3. Put technical information into easily understandable language. 
4. Prepare product documentation, such as operating and maintenance manuals, catalogs, assembly instructions, and ensure the FAA requirements, standards, approvals, and schedule are met for all new engine model or other needed publications. 
5. Work with engineers on technical subject matters to prepare written interpretations of engineering and design specifications and other information for a general readership. 
6. Plan and edit technical materials and oversee the preparation of illustrations, photographs, diagrams, and charts. 
7. Work closely with Program Managers to ensure that Technical Publications development of all new manuals are properly planned for all new programs in a cost efficient and result oriented methodology.  
8. Work closely with FAA Aircraft Certification Office on approval of publications. Assist the FAA-ACO with any other publication questions regarding legacy publications or from other FAA-ACO offices or international government agencies. Address and prioritize revision requests.
9. Oversee the sustaining and enhancement of Technical Publications publishing software. Recommend changes on acquisition of new software applications, as required, to maintain the department’s competitive position in the marketplace.

Position Requirements:

• 5 years supervisory related experience preferred. 
• Ability to read and interpret engineering design drawings (e.g. electrical schematics, assembly drawings, wire lists, parts lists or bills of materials, etc.)
• Possess strong organizational, interpersonal and follow-up skills

About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Engineering Applications Analyst to join our team. Summary
The Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for maintenance actions on Airborne Tactical Advantage Company’s aircraft as well as the safe and expeditious launch and recovery flight line operations at permanent and detachment sites.

Job Responsibilities
•    Maintenance efforts in support of company commitments
•    Proficient in one type/model aircraft and helper on additional type/model aircraft
•    Utilize AMS program
•    Training of maintenance personnel
•    Manage assigned maintenance programs
•    Assist with coordination of detachment requirements with Crew Chiefs (as necessary)

•    This mechanic performs 100-hour, progressive, isochronal, phase, periodic, and other hourly or calendar inspections

Qualifications: 
• Minimum requirements of this position include, but are not limited to, an A&P certification or at least 5 years of military aircraft maintenance equivalency.
• Must be capable of performing unsupervised complex maintenance actions and holds or has held a QAR qualification, engine turn qualification or advanced trouble shooting experience. Must be capable of managing assigned additional collateral programs, training junior mechanics on aircraft systems / GOP’s / safety practices, competent in the use of specialized tooling and/or test equipment and supervises aircraft servicing.
• Performance will be continuously monitored by supervision and reviewed annually with the employee.
• Avionics experience is preferred.
• US military tactical air experience a plus.

• Effectuer des travaux pour la remise en service de l’aéronef en assurant la conformité au manuel de processus de maintenance (MPM) de l’organisme de   maintenance des aéronefs militaires accrédité de BTCL;
• Effectuer les tâches quotidiennes de l’administrateur du système de contrôle et de maintenance des hélicoptères (HUMS)
• Agir à titre de point de contact principal de BTCL dans le domaine des publications techniques;
• Agir à titre de point de contact principal de BTCL pour le programme de contrôle de l’outillage du MDN;
• Préparer et mettre à jour les statistiques
• Réviser et vérifier l’exactitude de tous les registres de maintenance en vertu des exigences de soin, de contrôle et de garde du programme de contrôle de   l’outillage de l’organisme de maintenance accrédité (OMA);
• Transférer les données de maintenance de toutes les inspections planifiées dans le système SIMA;
• Gérer les calendriers de maintenance de l’organisme de maintenance accrédité (OMA) et examiner les inspections et les activités de maintenance en attente   pour chacun des hélicoptères CH146 qui sont visés par ces calendriers;
• S’assurer que tous les documents sur la maintenance des différentes pièces qui sont conservés hors de l’aéronef sont dûment remplis;
• Préparer et mettre à jour les statistiques sur l’exactitude des registres de maintenance et les vérifications effectuées;
• Participer aux vérifications annuelles du gouvernement;
• Exécuter d’autres tâches attribuées par le directeur, Programmes gouvernementaux canadiens, par le gestionnaire principal, Maintenance, de BTCL ou par le   superviseur de la maintenance de l’escadron auquel il est affecté.

Summary of Job Description

In support of the CH146 Maintenance and Engineering Support Services, the Aircraft maintenance coordinator and records control expert will be responsible to the BTCL Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor for the delivery of the OWSS contract services under the 424 Sqn embedded maintenance activities at Base Trenton, Ontario.  Main tasks and responsibilities will include the following:

The aircraft maintenance coordinator and record control expert will:

·      Coordinate the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the CH146 Griffon helicopters.

·      Exercise daily control of maintenance priorities and servicing functions to flight schedule demands.

·      Liaise with BTCL Maintenance Supervisor to assign maintenance tasks and trouble shoot snags.

·      Liaise with the assigned Squadron Duty Ops officer to identify servicing requirements.

·      Liaise with aircrew regarding snag clarification and recording, providing assistance and guidance.

·      Liaise with Flight Engineers (FEs) regarding aircraft configuration change requirements.

·      Liaise with the BTCL Supply technician regarding parts delivery.

·      Perform Aircraft Release functions IAW the BTCL Military Aircraft Maintenance Organization (AMO) Maintenance Process Manual (MPM).

·      Perform daily Health & Usage Monitoring System (HUMS) Administrator requirements.

·      Act as the BTCL primary point of contact for technical publications.

·      Be the BTCL primary point of contact for the DND Tool Control system.

·      Devise and maintain/update statistics.

·      Review and verify all aircraft maintenance records under the care, control and custody of the AMO for accuracy.

·      Execute maintenance data transfer in the ADAM system for all scheduled inspections.

·     Administer the AMO aircraft maintenance schedules and review the outstanding inspection and maintenance requirements for each CH146   aircraft inducted into maintenance.

·      Ensure all off-aircraft maintenance documentation for individual parts is properly completed.

·      Establish, maintain and update statistics of maintenance record accuracy and audits performed.

·      Participate in annual government audits. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director, Canadian Government Programs, by the BTCL   Senior Maintenance Manager (SMM) or by the assigned Squadron’s Maintenance Supervisor.

Exigences minimales requises

• Diplôme d’études secondaires. Un diplôme de niveau collégial en maintenance d’aéronefs est préférable.
• Certification de niveau A ou C dans les Forces canadiennes de préférence sur l’hélicoptère CH146. Ou
•  Licence de technicien d’entretien d’aéronefs (TEA) de niveau « M » avec qualification pour hélicoptères Bell 412 où
• Avoir ou avoir eu un pouvoir de certification d’un autre OMA.
• Au moins cinq (5) ans d’expérience à un poste de technicien d’aéronefs.
• Bonnes connaissances du système SIMA et du système de gestion du manuel technique électronique interactif.
• Bonnes connaissances du système HUMS un atout.
• Une connaissance des instructions techniques des Forces canadiennes (ITFC) (en particulier de la série P) et une expérience de leur application sont essentielles.
• Très bon sens de l’organisation, excellente aptitude à la communication, capacité de faire des exposés et entregent. Autonomie et bonne capacité d’adaptation.
• Disponibilité pour travailler par quarts (rotation jours et soirs), pour faire des heures supplémentaires, pour travailler sur appel et pour être déployé à l’extérieur.
• Bonne maîtrise des logiciels de Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). 

Le titulaire doit obtenir et conserver le niveau de sécurité Secret OTAN délivré par le Programme de sécurité industrielle de Services Publics et Approvisionnement Canada et les agents de sécurité de BTCL.

Minimum Required Qualifications

• High School diploma. College degree in aircraft maintenance is preferred.
• Level A or C certification in the Canadian Forces preferably on the CH146 aircraft. or
• Valid Licensed AME “M” qualified on Bell 412. or
• Hold or having held previous ACA authority from another AMO.
• Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a position of aircraft technician.
• Good knowledge of the ADAM and the IETM
• Good knowledge of the HUMS system is an asset.
• In depth familiarity and experience with the Canadian Forces Technical Orders (CFTO) is essential, particularly the “P” series CFTOs.
• Strong organizational, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Autonomous and adaptable.
• Willing to work shifts, (rotation Days and Evenings), overtime, on-call and be deployable.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite- Excel, Word.

Incumbent must obtain and maintain NATO Secret security clearance as issued by the Industrial Security Program of Canada’s Public Services and Procurement Canada and BTCL security officers.

 About This Role

This individual will be responsible for mechanical design focused on designing large-scale assemblies and components to be used on our Operational Simulators and Maintenance Training Devices. Responsibilities include tactical and strategic planning for the department aligned with business objectives, leadership in the development of new ideas, products, processes and techniques and facilitation of complex projects within boundaries of people, quality, time and value based upon technical review of complex design concepts by technical staff.  The successful manager will provide technical direction and coaching to staff and foster an environment of creative employee engagement. The candidate should have strong communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills and be comfortable interacting with Executive Leadership, Program Management, customer representatives and other stakeholders. This position requires that the candidate be a US citizen with or capable of receiving a secret level security clearance.

Responsibilities

-          Manage and define measurable best practices and design standards for hardware

-          Manage cost accounts, technical and schedule objectives for both “level of effort” support as well as defined projects.

-          Interface with product development teams, Program Management, Quality Engineering and Operations to achieve objectives. Effectively communicate with and engage all levels of the organization verbally, in writing and through presentations.

Qualifications

   -          B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with a minimum 10 years of experience

-          Proven experience leading a team of multidisciplined engineers

-          Experienced and knowledgeable in military (or other regulated) production environments and quality systems.

-          Able to manage projects, develop schedules and project plans, negotiate priorities and secure funding for initiatives.

-          Able to engage with Operations personnel in Lean and continuous improvement activities.
