Responsibilities:

•    Manage and direct the activities of the process department in the repair and refurbishment of tooling and equipment to meet or exceed production goals
•    Training of technical personnel on overall machine function, process, and troubleshooting
•    Oversee the tooling and equipment preventative maintenance programs to maintain continuous and efficient operations
•    Read and edit PLC logic, program and troubleshoot robotics, and evaluate, and troubleshoot electrical schematics
•    Direct and prioritize the activities in fabricating new tooling, repairs, and refurbishing equipment and tooling
•    Lead the process team in assisting the Continuous Improvement activities towards maintaining optimal equipment operations and in improving OEE, downtime, and scrap

•    Programming and installation of automation systems and interfacing with other factory control systems including PLC’s, HMI’s, robotics, drives and computers
•    Drive optimization of manufacturing equipment utilization through continuous improvement and rapid trouble shooting
•    Oversee and support quotation, procurement and execution of all capital equipment related projects
•    Maintains specified records and logs of repairs, maintenance-related activities
•    Performs preventative maintenance procedures following an established program
•    Follows applicable codes and regulations

Summary of job description

JOB SUMMARY

Textron is looking for a payroll tax professional to join our HR Shared Services team as a Sr. Payroll Tax Analyst. As a Sr. Payroll Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing payroll tax filings, managing federal, state and local payroll tax notices and ensuring payroll tax compliance for all Textron businesses. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of payroll tax regulations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with our payroll vendor to oversee multi-state payroll tax filings and amendments for 50 states and 25+ FEINs, while managing federal, state, and local payroll tax notices, including tracking, stakeholder coordination, and resolving issues with root cause analysis.
• Maintain tracking for tax notices, online portals, and payroll reporting of wages, tax withholdings, deductions, etc.
• Research and reconcile payroll taxes and maintain penalty tax notices and amendment statuses, using ADP Smart Compliance.
• Accountable for ensuring payroll tax compliance by remaining current on legislation and regulatory rulings that impact payroll or payroll tax.
• Oversee Form W-2 process and W-2c corrections needed.
• Provide guidance and support to the payroll team on tax-related matters.
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all payroll tax activities.
• Manage new earning / deduction codes for taxability impacts (W2, accumulators, supp vs regular tax rate).
• Administer audit and validation process for supplement compensation payments and work/home location to identify proper state income tax withholding allocations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Administer payroll tax obligations related to non-qualified compensation plans, ensuring compliance with associated taxation rules and regulations.
• Protect and maintain the privacy of employee personnel records including, but not limited to, personal and compensation information about employees.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years related experience with a payroll tax department for a medium to large sized employer administering payroll tax filing, registrations and accounting.
• Proficiency in ADP EV5 payroll system.
• Proven ADP vendor management experience.
• Experience accessing and navigating ADP Smart Compliance.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with PeopleSoft Payroll and systems integration is a plus.

Supply Chain Contracts Sr Professional 

Bell has an opening in our Fort Worth, TX headquarters for an experienced Supply Chain Procurement Contracts Professional with USG Military/Defense Contracting experience to support a role in Bell’s New Aircraft Product Development Programs.

In this role, you are responsible for establishing optimal long-term and high-dollar procurement contracts that enables the Supply Chain Organization and Programs to achieve its strategic objectives. This Contracting Professional works directly with the Integrated Products Team Lead and Program Team to identify and contract with the appropriate sources for new and existing aircraft subsystems.

What you’ll be doing as a SC Contracts Sr Professional  

·        Evaluating new, current and existing suppliers for fit with strategic purchasing contracts, preparing and issuing requests for proposal (RFPs).

·        Facilitating the bid evaluation and down-selection process.

·        Prepares negotiation strategies and conducts contract negotiations, employing cost scenario models, contracting strategy techniques, and negotiation support tools to advance the commodity’s key supply chain objectives, and finalizes contract awards.

About This Role

The Manager Supply Chain will lead a team of subcontract specialists to enable the negotiation and execution of complex subcontracts with major suppliers and ensure oversight of the supply base. This position further serves as the Air/Sea domain supply chain lead with direct support responsibility to the domain program leadership. Customer relationship management and supply chain execution are key measures for this position, all with a focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. 

Responsibilities

Serve as the supply chain lead to the Air and Sea domain programs.  Engage in regular communications, attend program reviews, and provide supply chain feedback on items of program importance or concern (e.g. risky suppliers and mitigation, delivery status, cost growth concerns, among others).

Coordinate and align with other supply chain resources/functions to meet customer objectives. (Supplier Development, Strategic Sourcing, Sourcing Engineering, Data Analytics, Tactical Procurement).  Escalate issues as identified.

Provide regular reports to supply chain and program leadership regarding subcontract status, supplier performance, risks/mitigations, and associated supply chain metrics.

Develop, coach, and manage subcontract specialists and monitor employee performance to goals.  Use data analytics and standard tools to measure and monitor subcontract placement and supplier management/performance.  Enforce and improve on standard work and cadences.  Monitor SC exception reports.

Maintain knowledge of domain major commodities including industry trends, economic factors, and key suppliers in these commodities.

Represent Supply Chain in gate reviews for prime proposal capture and submission in accordance with company delegation of authority. 

Intercept front end business opportunities to enable optimized down stream supply chain performance.  This includes, but not limited to, early integration on proposals (in coordination with Strategic Sourcing/Material Estimating), drive program accountability, mitigate requisition compression for requirements, and advocate for supply chain with the program team.

Support the Supply Chain organization executing discrete continuous improvement efforts as identified.

Analyze statistical data to evaluate supplier performance.  Develop and implement strategies for risk mitigation.  For known issues, support root cause corrective actions including contract management and enforcement. 

Support both internal and external audit teams, including Accounting, Textron Audit Services, DCMA and DCAA.  Ensure subcontract management activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, and customer requirements.

JOB SUMMARY:

To analyze product designs of parts and assemblies to determine the manufacturability of components, assemblies, and tooling and/or provides technical guidance in the solution of manufacturing customer related difficulties or improvements. JOB SUMMARY:

To work as part the Mobile Service Technician team (MST), focused on the maintenance activities and work scope of the Customers Citation aircraft.  To install, adjust, functional test, troubleshoot and repair avionics systems on board the aircraft at remote locations. Will assist the MST A&P with reviewing the work scope with Customers and adding squawks as required. Will respond to Customer inquiries and be responsible for assuring Customer satisfaction by coordinating with the Service Center Team. Will assist the MST A&P with overseeing the maintenance of the mobile service vehicle, ensuring vehicle is properly serviced and road worthy at all times.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Performs the functional testing required to isolate a customer complaint in a particular avionics system and repairing that aircraft system in accordance with FAA procedures.

o    Based on in-flight analysis and/or evaluation of information received from the customer, diagnoses problems and takes corrective action.

o    Troubleshoots problems on defective units or wiring discrepancies.

o    Replaces defective units, repairs wiring and modifies. Works from appropriate Textron Aviation schematics, blueprints, and service bulletins.

o    Responsible for final testing of avionics equipment and signing off customer discrepancy sheets.

o    Ensures all transmitting and receiving equipment (includes pulse equipment) complies with all applicable FCC rules and regulations.

Manager, FLRAA Software Safety Engineering 

The Manager, FLRAA Software Safety Engineering is responsible for managing the software safety process, analyses, and personnel for the FLRAA program.

This includes professional development of internal talent, sourcing of additional talent when required, providing input to the overall master schedule, identifying, developing and tracking required deliverables and developing, managing and communicating the system safety methodology for internal and external customers.

The Maintenance Instructor is responsible for the preparation and conducting training for customers in accordance with the approved syllabi/training program.

This position provides strategic and operational support in partnership with business unit leadership, plans and implements human resources initiatives designed to maximize organizational effectiveness through talent management processes and job/organization design.  The HRBP aligns HR initiatives with strategic business objectives and coordinates with other HR functions to execute objectives consistent with Corporate Business and HR strategy, policies, and practices. ·        Certify Maintenance Release documents and Release Notes in accordance with the Company system of Certification;

·        Raise, process and complete work packages and log entries to produce accurate maintenance forecasts, Work Packs, Job Board update,   and database compliance;

·        Upkeep of Job Board with current, scheduled and forecast maintenance, ensuring all completed Work Packs are correct and complete and are provided to the Accounts team for end of month invoice processing;

·        Evaluate maintenance information published by NAA’s, aircraft and component manufacturers relating to aircraft maintained by the Company; 

·        Update company systems with information pertaining to maintenance (electronic manuals, modification information, Service Bulletins);

·        Raise new log books for new or imported aircraft as required;

JOB SUMMARY:

Sets up and operates numerically controlled CNC Mill/Turn Lathes to perform machining operations (turning, boring, facing, threading, milling) from bar stock.  Reads process sheets/work instructions and blueprints to determine machining to be performed.

Bell is seeking an experienced Sr. Integrated Program Scheduler to join the team in Fort Worth, TX. Working in the EVMS Core, this role will provide direct support to programs and business management in relation to Earned Value Management (EVM) to manage project performance and progress of programs related to aircraft design, development, production, procurement, assembly, sustainment, and/or modification.

This role is responsible for the creation and maintenance of resource loaded schedules for Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and helps ensure horizontal and vertical integration between all IPT schedules in support of program requirements.

Responsibilities Include:

·     Support contract negotiations and develop proposal schedules in response to Requests for Proposal (RFP)

·     Creation of planning related documents including the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Program Summary Master Schedule (PSMS)

·     Lead the development of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)

·     Coordinate with the customer for Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) reports and scheduling and earned value metrics.

·     Lead the program’s EVMS Standard Surveillance, customer driven Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and, Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA)

·     Support internal program management reviews and risk assessments

·     Lead schedule analysis such as Critical Path analysis, multiple float path analysis, resource leveling, and schedule optimization.

·     Review, correct, and report schedule performance to plans and provide alternatives and corrective action plans as appropriate.

·     Own the schedule integrity for assigned program(s).

·     Lead the development and maintenance of team processes / work instructions and adapt these processes to the changing needs of the business

·     Fosters positive relationships and establish consistent, reliable communication with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), Naval Air Systems Command, (NAVAIR), internal/external auditors, and other external customers.

Requirements:

We are looking for inquisitive and driven individuals with a passion to innovate. As a Supplier Quality Intern at Bell, you can expect to support quality development, process improvement, and supplier project management for legacy and new aircraft. In this role, you will review supplier performance. Evaluate and manage improvement opportunities at suppliers (including Root Cause Corrective Action, Supplier Improvement Projects, risk review).   Analyze design engineering to determine supplier requirements, develop inspection plans, and process requirements to determine inspect ability for Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) using advanced quality tools (failure modes and effects analysis, 8D corrective action, process mapping, measurement system analysis, and control plans). Participate in design requirements analysis to develop new quality control processes (including use of advanced aerospace materials) and validate corrective actions. Coordinate team efforts and measures project performance. Receive assignments and direction from quality engineering management.

Day in the Life of an Engineering Intern

We are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to innovate. From tiltrotor technology to tail sitting vehicles, our engineers work across a wide portfolio of aircraft programs. As an Engineering Intern at Bell, you can expect to assist Project Engineers with various design and development projects. The successful candidate will be assigned responsibility for at least one engineering project in the design of aircraft structural or avionics products. 

Responsibilities May Include:

• Assist project engineers via “hands-on” engineering and design of new products.
• Use CAD/CAE for engineering drawings and/or analysis of new products.
• Perform secondary research in the successful resolution of engineering problems.

A Day in the Life of an Environmental Health & Safety Intern:

We are looking for inquisitive and driven individuals with a passion to innovate. As an EHS Intern at Bell, you can expect to support the quality and safety teams by analyzing regulations at the local, state, and federal levels. Some job responsibilities may include analyzing government policies to determine the impact on Bell Operations. Develop and implement plans to comply with these regulations. Analyze standards, in terms of engineering concepts, and apply these standards to meet specific requirements. Assists in safety inspection of equipment and/or audits of processes for conformance with safety and environmental compliance requirements (OSHA, EPA, and other federal agencies,) and Bell policy/procedures. Participates in injury/incident investigations. Assists in the determination of root-cause analysis and recommends corrective/preventive actions to avoid recurrence of said injuries/incidents.

What you will need:

• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher with a major in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Sustainability, or a related Science degree strongly preferred.

As a Design and Construction Ops Intern at Bell, you can expect to support the planning, design and construction of critical projects that support exciting programs and initiatives around the company. The intern will use tactical and strategic planning daily to carry out various projects and activities. Responsibilities may include meeting with stakeholders to gather requirements and plan for projects, hiring and managing building design teams and contractors, coordinating with other departments, reporting project statuses, and assisting management with campus planning. Assist Construction Project Managers with building designs, creating scopes, maintaining project safety, tracking schedules and budgets.
