Textron Leadership Development Program

The Textron Leadership Development Program (LDP) targets high-potential undergraduate candidates who can meet the challenges of leadership – people with a global mindset, the courage to act, and exceptional intellectual foresight. Our success depends on our ability to attract, retain and develop your talent to its fullest potential.

Recruiting for the Textron Leadership Development Program typically takes place each fall and open positions are posted within our University Relations jobs portal.

Each program provides these LDP participants with exceptional training, mentoring, learning opportunities and on-the-job resources that will enable them to accelerate their careers with Textron. Assignments are offered throughout business units and functional areas placing candidates into key roles throughout the enterprise:

• Textron Leadership Development Program: Engineering (LDP:E) – This is a 36-month program targeted to high-potential engineers early in their careers with a rotation through three Textron business units.

• Textron Leadership Development Program: Finance (LDP:F) – This is a 24-month program targeted to finance or accounting undergraduates with high leadership potential.

• Textron Leadership Development Program: Human Resources (LDP:HR) – This is a 24-month program consisting of two 12-month rotations throughout designated Textron business units designed to provide exceptional entry level candidates the opportunity to build core human resource and business acumen skills.

• Textron Leadership Development Program: Information Technology (LDP:IT) – This is a 24-month program consisting of two twelve-month rotations at a minimum of two Textron business units designed to create an accelerated path to information technology projects and processes.

• Textron Leadership Development Program: Marketing & Sales (LDP:MKTG) - This is a 24-month program which provides an accelerated path to marketing and sales projects and processes.

• Textron Leadership Development Program: Integrated Supply Chain (LDP:ISC) – This is a rotational program designed to give high-potential candidates practical experience in a range of supply chain management functional areas.
