Textron considers grant requests from organizations that most closely fit our philanthropic priorities and will review only one request per organization during a 12-month period. Multi-year commitments will be considered but are limited. Organizations interested in applying to Textron should use the forms linked below. Multiple grant applications are not required. Please note that only complete applications will be reviewed and considered for funding.

Contributions will not be made to:

Organizations without 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity status as defined by the Internal Revenue Service

Individuals

Political, fraternal or veterans organizations

Religious institutions when the grant would support sectarian activities

Organizations that discriminate by race, creed, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, age or any other basis prohibited by law
Textron targets its giving to nonprofit agencies located in its headquarters state of Rhode Island and those locations where the company has divisional operations. Organizations outside of Rhode Island should contact the Textron company in your area. Please see our Business Directory for business locations.
In each calendar year, Textron reviews funding requests during two cycles. Requests must be submitted by March 1 and September 1 in order to be considered.
